ABOUT E-BIKE
An electric bike is a great way to travel around the city or in the mountains as easy as if you were riding in a park. Sightseeing or a ride in the mountains - it all turns into a fascinating adventure.
What is it?
An electric bike is an ordinary bicycle: wheels, pedals, brakes - everything you are used to, but it has a small built-in engine that helps when you are going against the headwind or up the hill (there are plenty of hills in and around Tbilisi).
How it works?
The engine turns on automatically while pedaling. It feels like the wind is pushing you in the back. There is no twist grip throttle here (many people think that it looks like a scooter or a motorcycle). The engine helps only up to a speed of 25 km/h. Faster you can go with the help of your legs' muscles.
What's the difference?
Firsly, it's a pleasure :) The main difference from the usual bike is a small electric engine built into the frame and a battery. Electric bikes weigh 5-7 kg more than an average bicycle, but on the go this weight is not noticeable.
